Goals and tasks are the steps that make up the reading plans. Managing them is essential to keep the plans organized, relevant, and functional for your church members. Here's how you can manage the goals of a reading plan in the admin panel:

1. Access the Reading Plan

  1. In the admin panel, go to the "Reading Plan" section in the main menu.

  2. Locate the plan you want to manage in the "Available Plans" tab.

  3. Click on "Edit Plan" to access the settings and goals of the plan.

2. Add New Goals

  • To add a goal, follow these steps:

    1. In the goals section, click on "Add Goal".

    2. Fill out the following fields:

      • Goal Title: Example: "Day 1 - Genesis 1".

      • Description (optional): You can include instructions or additional notes.

      • Link: Add a relevant link, such as a devotional or an online Bible passage.

    3. Click on "Save Goal".

  • Added goals will be saved automatically and displayed in the defined order.

3. Edit Existing Goals

  • To edit an already created goal:

    1. Locate the goal in the list and click the edit icon.

    2. Modify the title, description, or link as needed.

    3. Save the changes.

Note: Goals that have already been completed by a member cannot be edited to avoid inconsistencies in user progress.

4. Reorganize Goals

If you need to change the order of the goals:

  1. In the goals list, drag and drop the items to rearrange them in the desired sequence.

  2. The updated order will be reflected automatically in the members' reading plans.

5. Delete Goals

  • To remove a goal:

    1. Click on the delete icon next to the goal.

    2. Confirm the deletion.

  • Important: Goals that have already been completed by users cannot be deleted to preserve recorded progress.

6. Review and Save

After managing the goals, review the entire plan to ensure that:

  • All goals are in the correct order.

  • The information (titles, links, and descriptions) is clear and complete.

  • The changes align with the purpose of the plan.

Click "Save Plan" to finalize the edits.

Managing the goals and tasks of a reading plan ensures your members have an organized, accessible, and spiritual experience. Plan well and inspire your church to stay connected with God’s Word!
