As you may know, it is possible to broadcast the lives (worship services) of your church on your app created by InPeace.
With this tutorial, we want to help you have a good experience with your live stream.
1. What platforms are used to integrate with the app?
Currently, InPeace apps allow the use of Youtube (youtube.com) and Twitch (twitch.tv). Through your channel on one of these platforms, it will be possible to embed for display in the app.
It is important to remember that you are using free tools (Youtube / Twitch), so, at times, the available resources are limited, which ends up reflecting also in the app's transmission.
Check out some YouTube requirements for streaming live using a mobile device:
to have at least 1,000 subscribers. Once you reach 1,000 subscribers, you may need to wait to get access to the mobile live stream;
not having received any live stream restrictions on the channel in the last 90 days;
verify your YouTube accouunt;
a device running Android 5.0 or later versions.
2. What should I do to enable my live streams in the app?
After the church creating the YouTube channel, and our Support Team enable the icon in the app, we will run the integration between them.
But remember:
All services (recurring or not) must be properly registered in the admin. If there are no services registered, the app will automatically display the last video posted on the channel;
You must ensure that live stream embedding is active on your channel.
With the integration between the platforms (Youtube/Twitch) and InPeace, it is possible that there is a delay when transmitting the live in the application.
3. Where can I find a saved live stream in the app?
Once completed, the live streams can be directed to the "Videos*" icon. Remember that it's possible to share messages directly through the app. Thus, you increase the reach of your messages.
*The icon can have different names, according to the church.
4. I followed all these steps, and I'm still having problems with my live stream. What can I do?
