How to send event notifications?

It is now possible to send notifications on events within the events module.

The functionality can be accessed through the event listing in the administrator panel, under Events and is only available for published events.

Administrators can choose which event they want to send the notification for and clicking the “bell” icon on the right side of the group in the list will open the notification tab, with the possibilities of sending notifications for:

  • Publicize your event: sending a reminder to everyone registered at the church.

  • Registered for the event: Sending a notification to all people who are registered for the event.

  • Registrants who have not paid for the event: Sending notification to all people who registered, but who have not yet had their ticket payment confirmed.

When selecting the “Publicize your event” option, the notification will be triggered automatically.

To notify event registrants, select “Event registrants” > “Push notification” and configure sending.

To notify registrants who have not yet had payments confirmed, select "Registrants who have not paid for the event” > "Push notification” and configure sending.

To configure sending, you must enter the title of the notification with a maximum of 100 characters and the information you want to send with a short call that attracts people's attention to access the app.

Furthermore, it is possible to schedule the sending of the notification, defining the exact day and time of sending.
