To view the hierarchical tree, follow the steps below:

  1. Access the administrator panel with Hierarchy Manager access.

  2. Navigate to the "Hierarchy" > "Hierarchical Levels" section.

  3. If the logged in user has the Hierarchy Manager role at more than one level, a screen will be displayed to select the level they want to configure. Otherwise, the tree will already be displayed.

Add a level

While on the tree view screen, to add a level:

  1. Click on the “+” of an existing level.

  2. Enter the name of the level you want to create and click “Save”.

  3. A new level will be created immediately below.

Rename a level

While on the tree view screen, to rename a level:

  1. Click on the “…” of an existing level.

  2. Select “Rename level”.

  3. Enter the new name and click “Save”.

Remove a level

While on the tree view screen, to remove a level:

  1. Click on the “…” of an existing level.

  2. Select “Delete level” and click “Delete”.

  3. The selected level will be removed.

Please be aware of the following rules regarding removal:

  • When deleting a level:

    • All churches associated with him will lose their membership.

    • All role assignments associated with it will lose the association. In other words, all users who have a role at this level will lose that role.

  • It is not possible, under any circumstances, to remove the first level (called the root level) of the hierarchical tree.

  • It is not possible to remove a level that has another level(s) below it. Consider the image below; If you want to remove level B, for example, you must first remove level D and then remove level B.
